Retired History professor Eugene Lieber will present a slide-lecture titled "History of the American Women's Movement" on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

He will discuss suffragette efforts from colonial evangelical roles to Seneca Falls, NY in the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. Feminist activism in the 1960s and 1970s to the current "me too" movement will also be explored during this overview of the historical peaks of organizing women.
