Posted

The Caldwell/West Caldwell School district will be hosting 2018-2019 informational sessions for the highly regarded Kindergarten Enrichment Program, currently in its foundational year. Kindergarten Enrichment students will be introduced to academic concepts through play and exploration. The program provides students with an enriching extension to the district’s current kindergarten.

This program offers a fluid full-day experience for kindergarten students in a learning setting where teachers support the need to play while problem solving skills are developed. The young learners discover new things about themselves, their community, and their environment while completing challenges that encourage them to think independently and creatively. Opportunities to explore outdoors enhance their learning.

The half-day Kindergarten Enrichment Program sessions are scheduled from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:15 to 3:15 p.m.. The Program is located in the Harrison School Building. Transportation between the four Elementary Schools and the Harrison School Building is provided and students eat lunch at their home elementary schools. The cost of the program is $450.00 per month for 10 months.

Two more informational sessions about the Kindergarten Enrichment Program are scheduled. The next session will be held on January 11 at 7:00 p.m. and a final session will be held on January 17 at 9:30 a.m. Each session will be held at the Harrison Building at 104 Gray Street, West Caldwell. Detailed information about the Kindergarten Enrichment Program will be explained during the presentation.

Registration forms for the half-day Kindergarten Enrichment Program will be available at the Informational Sessions, at the elementary schools, and on the district’s website at www.cwcboe.org/Kenrichment. A $75 registration fee and the last month of tuition ($450) are due along with the registration form.
