Buzz Aldrin student & parents report potential "luring" incident on January 2nd

A young student attending Buzz Aldrin school was reportedly "lured" by someone in a vehicle on January 2nd.

According to a timely letter sent to all Montclair district families this morning, "For your consideration, one of Buzz Aldrin Middle School student’s experienced a potential luring during the morning on January 2, 2019. Due to the wise thinking from the student and her parents, a potential luring was avoided. A special thank you is extended to our outstanding Montclair Police Department for its commitment to our community's safety and increasing morning patrols at Buzz Aldrin Middle School bus stops."

Dr. Kendra Johnson, Superintendent of Montclair Schools, sent out this important message this morning so both parents and students can be aware of the incident and also remember never to go into a stranger's car or go with any stranger at any time.
