"Yiddish Broadway: A Musical Tribute to Molly Picon and Fanny Brice"

The West Caldwell Public Library has planned several exciting events during the
month of May that I hope you will attend.

On Sunday, May 3, a concert entitled "Yiddish Broadway: A Musical Tribute to Molly
Picon and Fanny Brice" will be presented at 3:00 pm in the Community Room. World
renowned Soprano Sherry Zannoth and pianist Inna Leytush will perform such popular
songs from the Yiddish Theatre as "Yiddishe Nightengale," "Der Nayer Sher," "Libe,"
and "Abi Gezunt." This concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

In honor of National Older American's Month, Elderhostel Ambassador Joe Viviani will
present a lecture entitled "Budget Friendly Travel for Seniors" on Tuesday, May 12
at 6:30 pm in the Community Room. He will discuss budget friendly summer travel
options including leisurely as well as educational domestic and international trips.

On Monday, May 18, professional genealogist Robert Caruso will present a workshop
entitled "Genealogy for Beginners" at 6:30 pm in the Community Room. The workshop
will focus on popular resources, search strategies and tips and techniques for
conducting research. Mr. Caruso works for Heritage Preservation Associates in Verona
and is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

All of these programs are free and open to the public, but registration is REQUIRED.
