Giant Tag Sale in Caldwell to Benefit Downtown (CMA) Merchants

Leftover items will be donated to charity

CALDWELL, N.J. (September, 2010) -- If you have a yen for a bargain, and enjoy poking around tables looking for that perfect item for your home or office, then keep September 18th open.

The Caldwell Merchant’s Association is holding their first giant tag sale,

in the back portion of the Ace Hardware parking lot from 8am until 3pm on Saturday, September 18.

This event will feature a fun filled and eclectic assortment of furniture and all kinds of household items in good condition that is priced to sell.

But that’s not all. If you are looking to get rid of some gently used items, please contact the CMA at 973.403.0032.

Please price your items, no one knows what they are worth better than you!

You can bring any items to the Ace Hardware location on the morning of the sale starting at 7am.

Please do not bring clothes, books, or any large furniture items. We need to have the lot cleared out that day.

If you have larger furniture items that you would like to donate, please e-mail a picture. We will be making a board with pictures of those items in case anyone is interested. (please include your name and telephone number so we may contact you). Send emails to funfashiongirl@yahoo.com.

The Caldwell Merchants Association has a roster of about 50 members, comprised of merchants, professionals and volunteers from Caldwell and surrounding towns who all view Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell as their downtown. The CMA hosts events throughout the year, with the goal of increasing business within the borough and revitalizing the downtown area. Some of their events include Fall Festival, Safe Halloween, The Scare Crow Contest, Black Maria Film Festival, Dinner and a Movie, and Art on the Avenue.
