This year the Rotary will hold its first HEALTHY FOOD DRIVE. Working in Conjunction with the Partners for Help Foundation, the Rotary club will be asking people to make Healthy choices when choosing which food to donate. By doing so, the Partners for Health organization will be donating a check for $500.00 to the Human Needs Food Pantry in the Rotary’s name.

The Montclair/Verona Rotary Club will be collecting NON-Perishable HEALTHY groceries for the Human Needs Food Pantry. The food drive will be held at local Kings Supermarkets on October 11th.

Each month, over 3000 bags of food are distributed to over 3,300 people in need by the Montclair Human Needs Food Pantry, which is celebrating its 31st year of service. During the last four years, the number of men and women seeking food aid continues to increase. The items are given to the elderly, disabled, and people seeking employment as well as men and women who are disadvantaged in Montclair and nearby communities.
