Nutley Commissioner Steven Rogers announced today that the Township of Nutley has entered into a new contract with Future Sanitation and Recycling as of November 1, 2014.

In an effort to maintain our services in a cost effective way, the township will be changing the solid waste pick up schedule as follows: Wednesday/Saturday pick-ups will be eliminated and will be absorbed into the Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday routes.

*All of Franklin Avenue and streets WEST of Franklin Avenue will be on a Monday/Thursday schedule.

*All streets EAST of Franklin Avenue will be on a Tuesday/Friday schedule

*All bulk and vegetation will be picked up once a week on Wednesdays ONLY.

Recycling will not be affected. For more information please visit the Township website at www.nutleynj.org or call the Department of Public Affairs at 973-284-4976.

I ask that our residents be patient and work with us throughout this transition. This is a work in progress that will benefit the entire township for many years to come.
