Nutley police got a call from a resident recently, and shared this information, though are not officially endorsing it.
Under the Chief Notes in the Nutley Blotter Release report a resident had a doorbell that helped with police investigations. Yes, now your doorbell can be a "smart" doorbell!
The resident showed officers that he was able to view a suspect on his front steps and provided the footage to police.
A representative of the doorbell company RING.COM contacted Nutley Police and said that if anyone in the area is interested in purchasing this same doorbell for their own home they would offer a 25.00 discount for promotional purposes.
