Let's Read Together!
Let's Read Together is a family literacy program designed to help kids get ready to read! Each
session will highlight fun activities that adults and children can share to help develop early
literacy skills. Children of all abilities are welcome.

Toddler Time
Two-year-olds and the adults in their lives explore language and numbers through stories and
songs. Picture books, flannel board stories, and nursery rhymes are used to introduce the wonder
of books. Children of all abilities welcome.

Mother Goose
Mother Goose is an excellent way to promote literacy among our preschool-
aged patrons. Picture books, flannel board stories, songs and puppets are used to build upon
children’s natural enthusiasm for books and reading. Each session will end with a simple art
experience for little ones. Children of all abilities welcome.

Wednesdays Workshops
Minion Madness: Creatable Edible Arts
Come join the fun with those hilarious little Minions as we create an edible art project. Our mischievous Minions will go out to sea in search of an adventure. A day of boating and frolicking in the water is just what they need on a hot summer day.

Star Wars: Creatable Edible Arts
May the Force be with you as we create an edible “Star Wars” adventure project. Using everything edible we will create a scene featuring R2D2 as he helps Yoda fights the forces of Darth Vader! Lots of fun and delicious too!

Family Storytime @ Bellevue Avenue Library
This program is designed for newborns through five year-olds accompanied by a favorite adult.
Share books, stories, finger-plays, rhymes, and music with your children. Enjoy a story session
that encourages a love of reading and fosters the development of early literacy skills. Children of
all abilities welcome. Family Storytime takes place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.

The Story Stop Tour: Random House Kids' Bookstore on Wheels
Offering readers a chance to meet their favorite authors, illustrators, and characters. The Story Stop bus is traveling across the country to spread a love of reading to kids of all ages. Stocked
with a wide selection of books for purchase, like the bestselling Magic Tree House and Junie B. Jones series, The Story Stop will be visiting book-related events, festivals, and more, all year long! Kids and their families can stop by for exclusive giveaways, live entertainment, and of course — books! Presented in partnership with the Montclair Public Library and Watchung Booksellers.

Summer Reading Celebration @ Edgemont Park
You've been exercising your mind and body all summer long and now it's time for you to party! Kids, teens, and adults are invited to Edgemont Park for a day of programs, activities and good old fashioned fun! We'll have Yoga, mini-Adult School of Montclair programs focused on health, fitness, and nutrition; along with a Story-book walk for the little ones! We'll also have health & fitness groups from town to help you keep moving to a happy healthy life! Please try to finish your Summer Reading goals before the party.

G H O S T - A Victorian Séance for Teens with Mentalist Amore
Mentalist Amore brings you unexplained events and demonstrations from the Victorian era. Witness a recreation of a 19th century séance, experience a firsthand account of the Spirit Cabinet, your questions will be answered by the “Mystic Oracle” and a special guest from the other side will assist during the performance.
