Kids Choice Event - February 13

A local commissioner in Nutley is throwing a presidential birthday party your children won't forget - with two of the most famous American leaders on hand to wow them.

Commissioner Rogers is pleased to announce that Presidents George Washington and Abe Lincoln will be at the Department of Public Affairs, 149 Chestnut Street, Nutley, on Saturday, February 13th, 10:00am to noon, to meet, greet, and take photos with Nutley children, in celebration of Presidents Day.

“As part of our American Heritage program which started when Ben Franklin visited us a few months ago, I am pleased to continue this program with providing this educational opportunity for children to learn about these two presidents”, says Commissioner Rogers.

Each child attending will receive a brief lesson about these presidents, an American Flag and other educational material. (This is a FREE event for Nutley NJ residents only).

If you intend to join us on this day, please call Lindsay Lopez at 973-284-4976 or email llopez@nutleynj.org. A large turnout is expected and the department wants to make sure we have material for everyone.
