Nutley Police Arrest 3 for Narcotics

Nutley Police were conducting surveillance Friday 10/17/14 behind Nutley High School in cooperation with the Essex County Sherriff’s Department, and High School Officials.

Detectives observed one man selling what appeared to be CDS from the rear of a 2004 grey vehicle, while another kept watch. Detectives approached the suspects 19 y/o Neil Allarey of Nutley and 19 y/o Antonio Reyes of Passaic Park and arrested them in the process of selling CDS to a 13 y/o Middle School Student.

Detectives recovered marijuana, Schedule II Narcotics and Paraphernalia.

Allarey was charged with Distribution of CDS, Distribution of CDS within a school zone, Distribution of CDS near Public Housing, Possession of Paraphernalia. With a 75,000.00 Bail, he posted a portion and released from PD Custody

Reyes was charged with conspiracy to commit Distribution of CDS and conspiracy to commit Distribution of CDS on school property, conspiracy to commit Distribution of CDS near public housing, Possession of paraphernalia and conspiracy to commit Distribution of CDS paraphernalia. He was issued a Court Date and Released

The juvenile was charged with possession of CDS. Released to Parents Pending JV Hearing.

Police continue to monitor the sale and use of illegal narcotics within the Township.
