On Saturday February 6, 2016, the Montclair PAL held its “2nd Annual Hungry Games.” Montclair hosted two home games this weekend at Montclair High School, home and visiting teams were asked to bring in non-perishable items to be donated to two local Food-Pantries.
The recipients of this year’s donations are Toni’s Kitchen and the Love Food Pantry (Union Baptist Church). Montclair’s teams were victorious on and off the court, as both teams won their respective games MPAL 6th Grade Boys 58 vs. Millburn 40, and MPAL 7th Grade Boys 71 vs. Bloomfield 43, and collected food to be donated.
This is an annual event, so look forward to another great year in 2017.
