Uh-oh. I'm in big, cheesy, yummy pizza trouble.

Why?

Tonight, I ordered a pizza, and had it delivered.

Now I don't know about you, but when I order a pizza (rarely) and get it delivered (almost never now) I am always disappointed.

It gets soft or soggy or just gummy.

But tonight - one of Caldwell's own totally and utterly blew my mind.

Yes, it's an editorial, I can say that!

Tony D's sent me a square pizza, made simply with cheese and sauce.

But this was no simple pizza.

The crust was crisp yet thin - not too fat and doughy.

And the combination of the sauce (how does he do it?) with the cheese (it's not greasy) created a melt in your mouth heavenly taste that reminded me of

Dominica Andreozzi, my late great grandmother from Italy.

Guys - I am so proud of you for opening here in Caldwell. We have too many pizza spots but your pizzeria is a true diamond in a sea of rhinestones.

Apologies to all your competition, but all it took was one slice (well, maybe 4) to fall in love.

Trust me - get this square pie, and have it delivered.

You will have only one problem: can you hide it from the kids? (I did).

Mangia! You get hundreds of tomatoes for this pizza, Tony D's.

If you live within 20 miles of this spot, go there.
