With temperatures forecasted to remain above 90 degrees throughout the week, Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. and Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura announced that Essex County Codey Arena is available to the public as a cooling center. It will be open to the public Thursday, July 30th and Friday, July 31st from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, August 1st from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, August 2nd from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (All skating activities will not be interrupted.) Essex County Codey Arena is located at 560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange.
