Commissioner Tucci invites residents to get in shape with the Parks and Recreation Departments Core Cardio Blast 60 Exercise Program. This program, taught by Mary Wilde is open to Nutley Residents. This is an intense exercise program focused on increasing core strength while burning fat and increasing cardiovascular stamina. Boot camp, Kickboxing, plyometrics and resistance training are all included to create a cardio and strength training mix for maximum results. The last 15 minutes will feature a new component “All Out Abs”.

This class is adaptable to fit a spectrum of fitness levels. The goal is to achieve maximum results in 60 minutes. 3-5 pound hand weights and a floor mat are required. Classes are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, beginning September 2, 2014. Classes will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Exercise strengthens your heart, tones your muscles and helps you build stamina. Join us at the Recreation Annex, 65 Bloomfield Ave for this exciting class. All participants are required to pre-register for the Aerobic Exercise Fall Session. The fee is $40.00 per person. Class size is limited and applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Online registration is now available at www.nutleynj.org.
