The charter application in Montclair, which many residents were not in favor of, has been officially denied.The New Jersey Department of Education denied the application, due to "deficiencies found during the charter school evaluation process."
This denial letter was received today, September 30, by all parties including Montclair Schools and the lead founder of the Montclair Charter, Darryle Bogan.
