Borough of Paramus alerts residents of blizzard conditions

This is a message from the Borough of Paramus The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for our area from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. There is the potential for 20-30 inches of snow, with locally higher amounts in some areas. This storm also has the capability of producing sustained winds of 25-35 MPH, with gusts to 60MPH. There will be limited visibility of 1/4 mile or less and the temperatures will be in the lower 20's. Please stay tuned to your local TV or Radio Stations for updated forecasts and any additional watched and/or warnings. This is the time to prepare - so please prepare now! The Paramus Police Department will like to remind all residents that no parking is permitted on any street in Paramus during time of snowfall. This is to allow the Road Department plows to affectively plow the streets. These parking restrictions remain in effect even after the snow has ceased, until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that parking will not interfere with normal traffic flow.
