Blizzard Warning in Effect: Read following

A blizzard may hit us hard, with up to 20 -30 inches of snow.

Here are some important rules and information:

1. Do Not Park on the street with the storm coming. It is not allowed in ANY town in our coverage area.

2. Charge up ALL of your devices and keep them charged in case of emergency, and also so you can check weather, emergency warnings. Our paper will run as it did during Hurricane Sandy during the storm, hopefully.

3. Make sure your car has a full tank of gas. In case of power outages, gas stations cannot pump gas.

4. Find your batteries and a radio (crank or battery driven) and have it nearby.

5. You may lose power - only open your refrigerator for a moment.

6. Have water on hand and canned food, sandwiches such as peanut butter and jelly.

7. Secure all loose furniture etc. outside so it does not blow around.

8.NO DRIVING once this storm hits. Cars are always stranded during a blizzard and this can be very hazardous.

11. If you are stuck on the road be very careful - your exhaust pipe may get clogged with snow and this is how people die from carbon monoxide poisoning.
